Bayanjargal NASANTSENGEL
/Painter and graphic artist/
|
Nasantsengel /Nasaa/ is surely one of the most respected
women artists in Mongolia. Nasaa was educated in College
of Fine Art as an artist-graphic and State Pedagogical
University, as an artist. Not only has she become a well
known portraitist who is recognized in many countries, but
also she has genuine ability and talent to work in a wide
range of styles and subject matter.
In a brief review of Nasaa's art, such as the present
essay is, one cannot help but menitioning the artist's
geniune ability to work in a wide range styles and
subject matter. I am always presantly surprised to
see Nasaa's expriments in the diverse styles of
European artists. It is her aim at' learning and
expanding her scope of stylistic approach by virtue
of mastering the European master's - such as Marc
Chagall, Henry de Toulouse Lautric, Jackson Pollack
and other's - distinctive styles that the artist
eventually found herself involved in an unusaul and
adventorous project aims at revealing a Mongolian
artist's brillant ability to be genuinely flexible
with diverse styles. "Nasaa’s sincere and wholehearted
devotion solely to art and freshness of her
inquisitive eye inevitably inspire the viewers for novelty of vision"
Ts.Uranchimeg, art historian and critic
